Host FAQs

What is TRIMIO?

Trimio is a platform that connects Hosts (such as gyms, yoga studios, and community halls) with Service Providers (such as personal trainers or yoga instructors) who need a facility to offer their services. Trimio facilitates bookings, payments, and management of these Hostings and Offerings via the app.

How do I register as a Host on Trimio?

To register as a Host, you need to create a Profile on the Trimio platform. This involves completing the “Account Onboarding” process, which verifies your entity as a legal business in Australia. Registration is free, but you’ll need to provide identification and agree to the terms set out by Stripe, our payment provider.

What types of facilities can I list on Trimio?

You can list various types of physical spaces, such as gym spaces, community halls, or yoga studios. The facility must be available for use by Service Providers, and you must have the legal right to list it. Be sure to comply with all relevant laws, including leases and agreements.

How do I create and manage Hostings?

Once your account is set up, you can create Hostings by specifying the details of your facility, including availability, pricing, and any equipment or amenities offered. You can manage your bookings, view payment history, and communicate directly with Service Providers through the Trimio platform.

Can I change the price of my Hosting?

Yes, you can change the Hosting Fee at any time. The updated price will apply to new bookings, while current bookings will remain unaffected. All prices must be listed in Australian Dollars and include GST.

How do payments work?

When a Service Provider books your facility, the Hosting Fee is collected through the Trimio platform. After deducting the Service Fee, your Hosting Income is paid to your nominated bank account via Stripe. Payments are usually processed within two business days of the completed session.

What is the Service Fee, and how much is it?

The Service Fee is a percentage of the Hosting Fee that Trimio charges for providing the platform and payment services. This fee varies based on the length of time for the Offering and is displayed to the Host before confirming the session.

What happens if I need to cancel a Hosting?

You can cancel a Hosting before the scheduled session. However, if you cancel within 24 hours of the session, you may be liable for the Service Fee, and you will not receive the Hosting Income for that session. The session time will become available for new bookings.

What should I do if there’s damage to my facility?

If a Service Provider or Client causes damage to your facility, you are responsible for resolving the damage claim with them. You can report any disputes via the Trimio platform for further assistance.

Do I need insurance?

Yes, as a Host, you are responsible for ensuring that your facility is covered by the appropriate insurance policies. This should cover risks such as property damage, personal injury, or liability associated with the use of your facility by Service Providers and Clients.

Can I add specific terms for my facility?

Yes, you can impose additional policies or rules for your facility as long as they do not conflict with Trimio’s Terms and Conditions. These terms should be clearly stated in your Hosting description. However, all transactions must go through the Trimio platform, and you cannot ask Service Providers or Clients to pay you directly.

What happens if I have a dispute with a Service Provider?

If a dispute arises, Trimio encourages both parties to resolve the issue independently. However, if necessary, Trimio may assist in dispute resolution, including withholding Hosting Income until the dispute is settled. You can also refer disputes to [email protected].

How do I get support?

For any queries or support issues, you can reach out to the Trimio team via email at [email protected]. While Trimio does not guarantee customer support, the team will make reasonable efforts to assist you.

Can Trimio terminate my account?

Yes, Trimio reserves the right to terminate or restrict your account if you breach the platform’s Terms and Conditions or for other reasonable causes, such as security concerns or complaints from Service Providers.

How can I deactivate my profile?

If you wish to deactivate your profile, you can do so by contacting Trimio at [email protected]. Keep in mind that any pending transactions or disputes will need to be resolved before deactivation.

Are there any legal risks involved?

As a Host, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved in allowing Service Providers to use your facility. These risks may include injury or property damage. You are advised to consult legal and insurance professionals to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and coverage of potential risks.

These FAQs aim to provide a clear and concise overview of Trimio’s platform and hosting requirements. For more detailed information, you can refer to Trimio’s Terms and Conditions on the Trimio app.
