Service Provider FAQs

What is TRIMIO?

Trimio is a platform that connects Hosts (such as gyms, yoga studios, and community halls) with Service Providers (such as personal trainers or yoga instructors) who need a facility to offer their services. Trimio facilitates bookings, payments, and management of these Hostings and Offerings via the app.

How do I register as a Service Provider?

To register, you need to create a Profile on the Trimio platform and complete the “Account Onboarding” process, which includes identity verification. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The onboarding process uses Stripe for payments, and you’ll need to provide identification and accurate information about your business.

What types of Services can I offer on Trimio?

You can offer Services such as personal training, yoga, or any other type of professional Service that aligns with your qualifications. You will need to provide proof of your certifications and ensure you have the necessary insurance to cover the risks associated with your Services.

How do I create and manage Offerings?

As a Service Provider, you can create Offerings by listing your service details, availability, and pricing. You can manage your Offerings, Bookings, and profiles through the Trimio platform. Keep your Offerings updated and ensure that they accurately reflect the services you provide.

How do I set the price for my Offering?

You can set and modify the price for your Offering directly through the platform. All prices must be listed in Australian Dollars and include GST. Your fees are determined by you and can be updated at any time, although changes won’t affect sessions that already have confirmed Bookings.

How do payments work on Trimio?

Trimio processes payments through Stripe. After each session, your Offering Income (minus any Hosting and Service Fees) is transferred to your nominated bank account, usually within two business days. You will need to ensure your bank details are correct to receive payments.

What is the Service Fee?

Trimio charges a Service Fee for using its platform, which is deducted from your Offering Income. The exact amount of the Service Fee depends on the Offering and the number of Bookings. The Service Fee is displayed when you create your Offering.

What is a Hosting Fee?

The Hosting Fee is the amount charged by the Host for the use of their facility. This fee is deducted from your Offering Income. If your Offering Gross Revenue is insufficient to cover both the Hosting and Service Fees, you are responsible for paying the shortfall (Hosting Shortfall Fee).

What happens if I need to cancel a session?

You can cancel a session at any time through the platform. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled session, all Client payments will be refunded, and you will not earn any Offering Income. You will also be responsible for paying the Service Fee. If you cancel within 24 hours, the same conditions apply, but you will also be charged the Hosting Fee.

Can I change the price of an Offering after a Booking has been made?

You can change the price of your Offering, but price changes will not apply to already confirmed Bookings. Only future sessions will be affected by the new price.

What happens if a Client cancels a Booking?

If a Client cancels a Booking more than 24 hours before the session, they will receive a full refund. If they cancel within 24 hours of the session, they will still be charged for the session, and you will receive your Offering Income.

What are my responsibilities as a Service Provider?

You are responsible for:

Maintaining your Profile and Offerings with accurate and up-to-date information.

Having the required qualifications, certifications, and insurance to provide your services.

Obtaining waivers, consents, and authorizations from Clients.

Signing any required waivers or terms provided by the Host for using their facility.

What should I do if there’s damage to a facility?

If you or your Clients cause damage to a facility, you are responsible for resolving any damage claims directly with the Host. If a dispute arises, you may refer to Trimio’s dispute resolution process for assistance.

How do I resolve a dispute with a Client or Host?

Trimio encourages you to resolve disputes directly with the other party involved. However, if necessary, Trimio may assist in resolving the issue. In cases where a dispute involves Offering Income or payments, Trimio may hold the disputed funds until the issue is settled.

Can Trimio terminate my account?

Yes, Trimio reserves the right to terminate or restrict your account if you breach the platform’s Terms and Conditions, including failure to meet service standards, not having the necessary qualifications, or receiving repeated complaints. You can also deactivate your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

How can I contact support?

You can reach Trimio’s support team by emailing [email protected]. While Trimio does not guarantee customer support, the team will assist you with inquiries whenever possible.

What legal risks should I be aware of?

Providing services through Trimio involves certain risks, such as injury or property damage. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate insurance coverage for any services provided and that you are aware of all associated legal responsibilities.

These FAQs provide an overview of the key information Service Providers need to know when using the Trimio platform. For more detailed information, please refer to the full Terms and Conditions on the Trimio app.
